So concludes two years of braces. I can't say I'm sad to see them go. I have to say I'm ecstatic! No more rubber bands, no more food in between my brackets, no more people constantly asking endless questions about them. No more bad breath caused by them. The orthodontist was extremely pleased on how well I've done. My case was one of the most difficult he's ever seen to fix. He thought I'd for sure need jaw surgery. But with dedication with my rubber bands, I surpassed the expectations he had for me, and I won't need jaw surgery at all! His other orthodontist friend doesn't believe I didn't have surgery, but I can personally testify to anyone I most certainly did not have jaw surgery. It was all rubber bands! They truly help. My orthodontist wants to post my before and after pictures on the wall and online because he is so happy and astounded and to encourage people to be faithful with rubber bands. It's worth it! It truly is.
I'm also excited cause it will help me chew better and there will no more self consciousness because I heard of at least one person who thought they were disgusting. and no more fear of bad pictures. And I'll look a little older. It'll be weird for my co workers, because they just know me with braces. It felt like this day would never ever get here, but it got here faster than I thought it ever would if that makes sense.
Before and after pics soon to come. Not to toot my own horn but you'll be astounded and amazed!!!!!!!
